Florence and the Machine - Lungs

I first heard about the British pop artist, Florence Welch, when a friend introduced me to a cover of Rober Palmer's "Addicted to Love." In her version of the song, Welch adds an element of soul as she artfully modernizes this 1986 hit and seduces you with her sultry voice and alternative beat.

Florence and the Machine technically isn't one band. It consists mainly of Florence Welch and a variety of different musicians that she collaborates with. Their debut album, Lungs, gives more of an upbeat, feminist feeling than the soulful cover of "Addicted to Love."

The entire album Lungs will be available for download on this website at some random point in time.

Til then...
